چکیده

High-resolution far-ultraviolet broadband Fourier-transform photoabsorption spectra of 32S16O, 33S16O, 34S16O, and 36S16O are recorded in a microwave discharge seeded with SO2. The B3Σ−(v=4−30)←X3Σ−(v=0) C3Π(v=0−7)←X3Σ−(v=0) bands observed or inferred the 43,000–51,000 cm−1 (196 to 233 nm) spectral range. This is first experimental detection C3Π(v>2) level any these an S-substituted isotopologue. Additional measurements A3Π(v=1−3)←X3Σ−(v=0) provide calibration SO column density. Measured band profiles fitted effective-Hamiltonian model coupled excited B 3Σ− C 3Π states along their predissociation linewidths absorption strengths. Electronic-state potential-energy curves transition moments deduced. end result list line frequencies, f-values, dissociation widths describing photodissociation spectrum that accurate enough for computing atmospheric photolytic isotope-fractionation. Linelists, cross sections available as supplementary data.

Variation-Based Linearization of Nonlinear Systems Evolving on SO(3) and S2

In this paper, we propose a variation-based method to linearize the nonlinear dynamics of robotic systems, whose configuration spaces contain the manifolds S and SO(3), along dynamically-feasible reference trajectories. The proposed variation-based linearization results in an implicitly time-varying linear system, representing the error dynamics, that is globally valid. We illustrate this metho...

Na+-K+ATPase in Human Brain Tumors

Na+-K+-stimulated adenosine triphosphat s (Na+-K+ATPase) activities were measured in 12 human brain tumors and surrounding tissue (white matter and cortex) by the colorimetric deter mination of hydrolyzed inorganic phosphorus (Pi) from adenosine triphosphate (ATP). In glioma cases, the brain microvessels, filial component, and neurons were isolated fr...

A Crossed Beam and ab Initio Investigation on the Formation of Boronyldiacetylene (HCCCC11BO; X1+) via the Reaction of the Boron Monoxide Radical (11BO; X2+) with Diacetylene (C4H2; X1g+)

The reaction dynamics of the boron monoxide radical (BO; XΣ) with diacetylene (C4H2; XΣg) were investigated at a nominal collision energy of 17.5 kJ mol−1 employing the crossed molecular beam technique and supported by ab initio and statistical (RRKM) calculations. The reaction is governed by indirect (complex forming) scattering dynamics with the boron monoxide radical adding with its boron at...

“No-Spin” States and Low-Lying Structures in 130Xe and 136Xe

Inelastic neutron scattering on solid XeF2 and XeF2 targets was utilized to populate excited levels in 130Xe and 136Xe. When calculating nuclear matrix elements vital to the understanding of double-beta decay, it is important to have a clear understanding of the low-lying level structure of both the parent and daughter nucleus. Of particular relevance to double-beta decay searches are the assig...
